Wildlife in Sri Lanka Photography Tours & Workshops

Come and photograph beautiful leopards prowling through dense jungles, along with other wild animals on this fabulous wildlife photography trip in Sri Lanka.

The tour takes us to two of Sri Lanka’s most designated wildlife sanctuaries. We will travel through the rugged Wilpattu and Yala National Parks in search of the “Lord of the Jungle” – The mighty Sri Lankan Leopard – (Panthera pardus kotiya).

Our primary focus is the leopard (panthera pardus kotiya). However, along the way we will also encounter deer, buffalo, wild boar, mongoose, wild dogs and a plethora of colourful birds. If we’re lucky, we may even encounter the elusive Sloth Bear. All this makes for a fantastic photography holiday packed with photo opportunities.

Every moment presents a unique chance to capture breathtaking photos. Led by an experienced guide and photographer, this expedition takes you off the beaten path to discover hidden gems and witness rare species in their element.

My tours are meticulously planned to optimize photographic opportunities, which is why group sizes are limited to a maximum of 4 guests. This allows for enhanced flexibility during the tour, enabling us to adapt plans seamlessly. When a particular subject captures our attention, we have the freedom to dedicate ample time to each location as needed, ensuring we make the most of the opportunities that come our way. It also allows more time for individual tuition where needed.
